Our staff

Hamdi Akpınar

Hamdi Akpınar was born in Kahramanmaraş. In 2015, he graduated from Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University with a degree in Turkish Language and Literature, completing his pedagogical training in the same year. While still a student, he began teaching Turkish to foreigners who came to Turkiye. In 2016, he moved to Istanbul and has been teaching Turkish in various language courses and privately. In 2018, he participated in the Turkish Language Teaching Certificate program for Foreigners at Marmara University. For the past 7 years, he has been teaching Turkish to foreigners, especially Arabs. Currently, he works as a Turkish teacher in a private international school and is proficient in Arabic.

Zeynep Algül

Zeynep Algül was born in Istanbul, she graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in History in 2017. Concurrently, she began teaching Turkish to students from various countries. After completing her undergraduate studies, she entered Istanbul Aydın University’s Arabic translation and interpretation department with a full scholarship. she underwent a preparatory training for a year. For approximately 6 years, she has been teaching Turkish to foreign students through language centers, private lessons, and online platforms. Teaching, traveling, and photography are among her hobbies.

Yakup karasu

Yakup Karasu was born in Hatay and completed his education up to high school in the same region. In 2013, he graduated from Gaziantep University with a degree in Turkish Language and Literature. He completed his pedagogical training at Mustafa Kemal University. After his university years, he worked as a study coach for a while and later began teaching Turkish to foreigners, both in language centers and private lessons. For the past 6 years, he has been professionally providing Turkish education to foreigners in Istanbul. In addition to speaking Arabic, he enjoys learning new things and meeting new people.

Fulya Kalkandelen

Fulya Kalkandelen was born in Hatay. In 2014, she graduated from the Turkish Language and Literature Department at Anadolu University in Eskişehir. She completed her pedagogical training at Kocaeli University in 2015. During her years as a student, she started giving private lessons to primary and middle school students.
In 2016, she began working as an instructor at an association in Kilis city, focusing on refugees, especially Arabs. Later that year, she was transferred to Istanbul, where she continues her current position. Having worked with Arabs for many years, she is proficient in Arabic. For approximately 5 years, she has been teaching Turkish to foreigners, both in private lessons and classroom environments.
Among her favorite things are getting to know different cultures, sharing, learning and teaching, as well as laughter and bringing joy to others. 🙂

Mahmut Erkan

Mahmut Erkan was born in Erzurum. In 2015, he graduated from the Faculty of Theology at Bursa Uludağ University. In the same year, he completed pedagogical formation training. After university, he specialized in Arabic for a year. Since 2016, he has worked as a teacher in various state and private schools. Starting from 2018, he began teaching Turkish, especially to foreigners, particularly Arabs. For the past 4 years, he has been giving Turkish and Turkish literature lessons to foreign students both in various educational institutions and privately. He is proficient in Arabic.
