Fulya Kalkandelen was born in Hatay. In 2014, she graduated from the Turkish Language and Literature Department at Anadolu University in Eskişehir. She completed her pedagogical training at Kocaeli University in 2015. During her years as a student, she started giving private lessons to primary and middle school students.
In 2016, she began working as an instructor at an association in Kilis city, focusing on refugees, especially Arabs. Later that year, she was transferred to Istanbul, where she continues her current position. Having worked with Arabs for many years, she is proficient in Arabic. For approximately 5 years, she has been teaching Turkish to foreigners, both in private lessons and classroom environments.
Among her favorite things are getting to know different cultures, sharing, learning and teaching, as well as laughter and bringing joy to others. 🙂
